Gabe & I got the tree all decorated last night! We were hoping for a taller tree, but the tree farm only grew them so high! Maybe next year it will be bigger! Especially because it seems we are accumulating a lot of ornaments!
Gabe was so excited to get out his Lego train! He played with it for awhile, then parked it right in front of the tree!
We still need to set up the Nativity and hang the stockings, then we'll be done! Now we just need some presents wrapped to go under the tree!
How is everyone doing on their Christmas shopping? I've still got more to buy! But I did order my Christmas cards tonight!
P.S. to those of you who aren't in Oregon, the Beavers lost the Civil War game to the Ducks. But it's all good, we're still fans!

Today it's Civil War time in Oregon! The UofO Ducks are playing the OSU Beavers tonight, and the winner will go to the Rose Bowl! I don't even watch football, but this is big news in OR! My family prefers black & orange, so that is what we're sportin' today!
This is our office staff at Ankeny Insurance, Roseburg office. My Mom, Dad, Aunt Jo and myself! Thank you Christopher for taking our picture!
Gabe's school got to dress up in team colors today at school. Here he is before heading to the bus this morning.
Hope you all have a good day! Hope to find time to blog more soon!

Hello! So glad it's Friday! I had Wednesday off this week. I stayed home, watched a movie, then purged & organized some scrapbooking supplies! But then Thursday, ugghh, it felt like a Monday all over again! Two Mondays in one week isn't good!
Tomorrow Christopher & I start bow hunting for deer again! Unlike the early season, this time I hope we actually get something! So that's all for this weekend. Gabe has plans with my parents so he's taken care of!
Hope everyone is doing well and has a good weekend!

Thought I'd post the rest of the Halloween pics and the other few I've taken since then! Yesterday we went for a drive in the mountains, made it to some snow, but didn't get out, then came back home! We made a stop at the Steamboat Creek Falls.
Love that picture of my boys!
---------------------------------------------------------------
Today I went to a baby shower for my life-long friend Megan! She's expecting baby Meara in December! I didn't have time to make her a scrapbook album, so I made her a canvas for the baby's room. I wish I'd had more time, but it turned out alright.
---------------------------------------------------------------
Last weekend Christopher & I went for a drive in the mountains to look around. He spotted this buck within a few miles of the house and we didn't end up seeing anything in the woods!
---------------------------------------------------------------
And finally we have the rest of the Halloween pictures! We took Gabe out trick-or-treating near Christopher's sister's house. It's a good neighborhood and he got lots of candy and had tons of fun! Matt & Stori always decorate the front yard and we always make sure to see it. Matt does a great job!
There's Batman!
Batman with his Grandma Kathy!
Well I think that's it for now! I'm caught up with photos! Hope you had a great weekend!

Finally, here are the pictures of our visit to Redmond with Kasen! He's such a cutie and I miss him already!
Gabe loves Kasen and wants to hold him and be by him all the time!
Goofy self-portrait!
Gabe wanted to read Kasen a book! So sweet!
---------------------------------------------------------------
A few days prior to our trip to Redmond we had gone to Portland with Christopher. Gabe and I spent quite a few hours in the hotel pool and hot tub while Christopher was at his meeting. Here are a few pics!
Half of the time when I say 'strike a pose', this is what I get!
I also had the Flip video camera and I took video of Gabe in the pool. He knows how to swim pretty good but hasn't been in the deep without an adult. While I was out of the pool, he edged his way down to the 5ft. and I was taping him while he was talking and holding on to the side. All of the sudden he lets go and bails out into the water. He does okay and then starts panicking and goes under! Luckily he was close enough to the edge I could grab his arm and pull him up! The video was running the whole time! I still need to download that! Crazy kid!

Gabe is going to be Batman! This picture is from his school party on Thursday. Thought I'd share a few clever Halloween snack ideas too! I was really impressed with some of the stuff the class moms came up with!
Finger cookies with almonds as fingernails! There was also blood oozing from under the fingernails and at the back of the finger!
I loved the display on this one! The eyeballs are donut holes that had been dipped and decorated! So clever!
Later today we're taking Gabe out to trick-or-treat! Hope you all have a great Halloween!

While we were in Redmond last weekend my brother took us to a pumpkin patch over there. It was a beautiful day!
Christopher pulled this wagon back from the parking lot. Gabe with my parents dog Patty!
My huband LOVES the pumpkin patch! lol!
self -portrait in the direct sun!
Gabe & Kasen!
Still need to post pics of our visit with Kasen and our trip to Portland!

Here are our best pics from the photo shoot yesterday! We had a good time with some good friends! Christopher isn't much for pictures, but he did pretty good! I wore my hair down, which bugs the heck out of me, but it's all good! Thanks Dawn, Arla & Gary for taking pictures!
I still need to edit the pics of Kasen and the pumpkin patch, so watch for those later this week!

I recently did this layout for another challenge thru the Personal Scrapper message board. I was emailed a layout, had to scraplift it or use it for inspiration for my own page. Then my layout gets forwarded to the next person in line. It's neat to see how the layouts change and are still similar at the end of the game! Thanks Amy for hosting it again!

Christopher had a meeting in Portland on Thursday morning, so Gabe and I went up with him Wed. afternoon. Gabe didn't have school on Thurs. so him and I stayed at the hotel to swim and enjoy the hot tub while Christopher was at the meeting! We had a great fun and I got some good pictures! I'll share those later.
Thursday we had to drive right home and go to Gabe's school conference. It went very good. He's reading at 4th grade level! My only concern is that his spelling words have seemed too easy for him all year. I asked that he be more challenged in this area, so the Teacher is going to work on that.
He's been doing much better with all his talking! The Teacher is very pleased at how far he has come in the last few weeks.

Friday after work we headed to Redmond to see my brother, Kelly and Kasen. We got in late, but still got to see Kasen before bed! He's grown so much and is so cute!
Saturday the guys went and rented a tractor to load up a bunch of rocks that my parents wanted to bring home. Gabe, Mom and I stayed inside playing with Kasen!
Then we headed to the pumpkin patch! Also got some good pictures there. I'm short on time today, so I'll have to post more pictures later!
This afternoon we're headed to Dawn & Chucks. We're all hoping to get some family pictures taken, if the weather holds out! Have a good Sunday! I'll be back later with more pics!
